With the holiday season bringing peak family gatherings and boosted spending from bonuses and gifts, Timezone Philippines is banking on the relaunch of its pioneer Glorietta branch to sustain its revenues.

Timezone Philippines president and general manager Raffy Prats Jr., during the relaunch of Timezone Glorietta on Friday, said December is the most important month for the company.

“Basically, 20 percent of our bottom line comes from December,” he said, noting that peak period is from Dec. 15 to 24 and the super peak period is from Dec. 25 to Jan. 3, when the kids have received their Christmas gifts.

The summer months of April and May, driven by school breaks and summer outings, are the second-largest contributors to their earnings, he said.

Prats acknowledged that revenues have been affected in recent years by the pandemic, natural disasters in various regions, and reduced mall foot traffic due to renovation closures, including the temporary shutdown of the Glorietta branch.

He, however, remained optimistic that with the relaunch, foot traffic – and their revenues – would improve.

He declined to give specific figures on revenues but said that, in general, this year is “a fairly flat year for us.”

“But we are looking at a very strong 2026, and we plan to grow by double digits in 2026. So, this year is more of a consolidation year for us, trying to renovate as many as we can,” he added.
