The PHINMA Group of Companies said that the take-up of the units on its 21-hectare mixed-use township project in Bacolod City, dubbed Saludad, continues to attract “steady interest from both Bacolod residents and Bacolodnons abroad.”

One of the buildings in the township program is called Maayo Terraces Tower 1, a mid-rise condominium, and since its launch last April, sales have reached 36 percent.

“Early inquiries for Maayo Terraces reflect a positive market response to Saludad’s vision of integrated, community-centered living—proof that Bacolod’s demand remains healthy and values-driven,” the company said in a statement sent to the Philippine News Agency.

Also, sale of residential lots under the Likha Estates is now at 27 percent a year after its release, while commercial lots take-up has reached 23 percent, the statement reads.

It explained that “while Metro Manila experiences some cooling in the mid-income segment, regional markets like Bacolod remain active and resilient.”

“Saludad is designed for the growing segment of professionals, BPO/KPO (business process outsourcing/knowledge process outsourcing) employees, OFWs (overseas Filipino workers), and families seeking quality homes in livable, well-connected communities beyond the capital,” it said.

Asked about plans for additional projects that will cater to the middle-income segment, PHINMA cited opportunities both in the Visayas and Mindanao.

“Beyond Bacolod, PHINMA Properties continues to expand into other key cities across the Visayas and Mindanao, where the property market remains healthy, vibrant, and full of potential,” PHINMA said.
